| The facility contains a number of state-of-the-art microscopes including Leica Stereomicroscopes and a Leica confocal laser scanning microscope. Nina Strömgren Allen, Professor of Botany & Director of Cellular and Molecular Imaging Facility: “We have developed a new method, Polarization Modulation DIC and we will continue to further test and develop any other microscope improvements we find necessary in order to record dynamic events in living cells.
