| The Protein Crystal Growth Mission Support Centre in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, co-ordinates and carries out the sample loading and recovery activities during ISS (International Space Station) missions and also does complete mission simulations. Scientists analyze the structure in order to study the molecular architecture of the crystallized protein. Knowledge of protein structures can be used to design more effective drugs to combat disease. A Leica MZ125 Stereomicroscope is used to enlarge and to photograph Protein Crystals.
