Detailed Description

Optics
Superb E series optics provide brilliant, high contrast imaging quality. Utilise E1 or E2 series optics, depending on performance and budget requirements. Higher level E2 optics are utilised on the CM E. Anti-Fungus / Mold warranty protects your investment. Spring-loaded high magnification objectives prevent broken sample slides. Standard 18 mm field of view / 10x eyepiece provides a wide FOV and comfortable operation. Standard, high eyepoint eyepieces available with pointer and accept 21 mm reticules for measuring or counting applications
Available with monocular, binocular, trinocular, teaching or video viewing bodies
Dual focus adjustments for interpupillary distance (IPD) assure parfocality. All objectives are parfocal and parcentered to minimise refocusing
45 degree viewing angle, 360 degree rotatable viewing bodies provides ease of sharing an instrument and comfort
Construction
Diecast metal stand for strength & durability in demanding environments. Rear facing nosepiece allows easy access to sample & comfortable operation. Low heat output protects the user & allows comfortable operation. Meets or exceeds international safety standards of UL,cUL,VDE,CE and EMC. Protects the user and investment. Coaxial coarse/fine focus controls are ergonomically located & the gearless focus drive eliminates stage drift problems found on lesser quality instruments.
Illumination
Bright 20W,2,000 hour Tungsten-Halogen lamp version is 20x longer than other microscopes. Saves time & replacement cost. Tungsten-Halogen illumination does not change color or intensity throughout the life of the lamp. Wide dynamic range of illumination, provides ample light for the most basic and highest demand applications such as darkfield, phase and photomicrography. Easy lamp change minimizes down time.
Comfort and Convenience
The compact size of the CM E keeps key controls within easy reach and takes up less table and storage space. Low heat output for comfortable operation.
45 degree viewing angle and 360 degree rotatable viewing bodies for easy sharing and comfortable viewing. Low position of mechanical stage minimizes wrist movement.
Accessories
Upgrade to Phase contrast, polarization or darkfield illumination techniques. Koehler illumination brings a new level of quality to the CM E image. Economical 35 mm camera solutions for photomicrography. Fixed or separate video accessories provide flexibility. Hardwood or soft padded cases available for storage and transportation.
